附录3 行程中常见法老王及王族成员名字及古埃及神
名词注释
Amenhotep III (1391 - 1353 BC)，又有译作 Amenophis III 在位于新王国时期第十八王朝的古埃及黄金时期，他在位期间四海升平，国家财富大增。
Djoser (2630 - 2611 BC)，又叫 Zoser 古王国时期第三王朝的君主，建造了 Saqqara 的阶梯金字塔。
Khafre (2520 - 2494 BC)，又叫 Chephren 古王国时期第四王朝的君主，建造了 Giza 的大金字塔。
Khufu (2551 - 2528 BC)，又叫 Cheops 古王国时期第四王朝的君主，建造了 Giza 的大金字塔。
Ramesses II (Ramses II) / 拉美西斯二世 (1290 - 1224 BC)，又称拉美西斯大帝 新王国时期第十九王朝在位很长的君主，统治期间为埃及的黄金时代。在位期间在各地建筑和扩建了很多神庙，最有名的包括亚斯旺的 Abu Simbel、乐蜀的乐蜀神庙和卡纳克神庙等。
Seti I (1306 - 1290 BC) 新王国时期第十九王朝的君主，继任人便是拉美西斯大帝。
Seti II (1210 - 1204 BC) 新王国时期第十九王朝的君主，拉美西斯大帝的继任人。
Tutankhamun / 图坦卡门 (1333 - 1323 BC) 新王国时期第十八王朝的图坦卡门九岁登基，在位十年便驾崩。和中国古代很多幼主一样，图坦卡门没能掌握实权，甚至有可能被人谋杀而死，也因没有甚幺功绩而几乎被人遗忘。直至 3,200 年后的公元 1922 年，因考古学家发现他未被盗墓者搜括一空的墓穴而忽然声名大躁。有关陵墓未被偷窃和被发现的过程曲折离奇，可在博物馆内的相关网页中找到。今天，墓内大部分的古物都放在开罗博物馆的图坦卡门厅内。
Tuthmosis III (1479-1425 BC) 这位新王国时期第十八王朝的法老王，在位期间南征北讨，打胜了二十多场战争，后世称他为「古埃及的拿破仑」。
名词注释
Amun (Amen) / 阿蒙,
Amun-Ra / 阿蒙 - 拉 初时只是第比斯 (Thebes) 的地方小神，在新王国时期和太阳神 Ra 结合而被提升为众神之王、法老之父，多以头戴高帽的男性形象出现。
Anubis / 阿努比斯 胡狼神，是木乃伊和陵墓的保护神，经常以胡狼头人身甚至整头胡狼出现在陵墓壁画和陪葬品上。
Hathor / 赫特 欢乐和爱情女神，也是女性的保护神。常以牛角或牛头的形象出现，也出现在很多神庙的柱上顶端。Hathor 是太阳神的女儿。
Horus / 贺鲁斯 天神，Osiris 与 Isis 之子，多以鹰头人身形象出现。Horus 多出现在下埃及，而 Seth 则被上埃及的人奉为天神。
Isis / 爱西斯 既是冥神 Osiris 之妹，亦是牠的妻子，地位相等于大地之母，法老王亦认为是祂的儿子。Isis 常以头戴太阳帽的形象出现。
Mut 战争女神，阿蒙神的妻子。
Osiris / 奥塞里斯 冥界和繁殖之神，是古埃及重要神祇之一。祂十分容易辨认，握着一个大问号和一把尘拂的便是。
